This class is for the absolute beginner.  If you’ve never tried yoga but are interested, this is a good introduction to the basics of yoga including body alignment and prop usage. This class will teach the common cues used in yoga classes. This is also a good class if you are afraid of yoga or think that you are not flexible enough or have tried yoga and found it to be too difficult. This class will help you to demystify yoga so that you can get started in this life-long healthy practice.
Hatha Yoga is a practice that focuses on the asanas aka the postures of yoga. This is a class designed for those who have practiced yoga before and want to work at a moderate pace to build a foundation of basic alignment, awareness and flexibility. This Hatha Yoga class uses principles of connective tissue stretching from Yin Yoga and principles of alignment from Iyengar Yoga.

This class is designed for those who have practiced yoga before and want to refine and increase awareness and alignment in their practice. This will be a mixed class with adaptations for students with varied ranges of strength, flexibility and mobility. This Hatha Yoga class uses principles of connective tissue stretching from Yin Yoga and principles of alignment from Iyengar Yoga.

This is an intermediate to advanced level class for practitioners who know their basic yoga poses and are wanting a challenge through longer holds, deeper alignment and stronger stretches. This Hatha Yoga class uses principles of connective tissue stretch from Yin Yoga and principles of alignment from Iyengar Yoga.

This class will be for those who need a reset to the nervous system after a long week. Principles from Yin and Restorative Yoga will be used in a calming environment with music, low light and lots of props to start your relaxation into the weekend.

Vinyasa Flow feels like dancing through the asanas. SLOW Vinyasa Flow is a more dynamic variant of the typical Hatha Yoga. The asanas are repeated through playfully flowing sequences and transitions. More time is allowed for alignment and breathing than in typical Vinyasa classes.

This practice begins with slow stretches and gradually progresses to a more dynamic practice connecting the breath to the movements through the asanas. This is an energising and refreshing practice for those who want a practice that flows and connects the mind to the body through movement.

This style borrows it’s name from Chinese martial and healing arts where it emphasises the stretch on the yin tissues of the body, the connective tissue including fascia, tendons and ligaments. Yin is a gentle practice utilising props and gravity to put the connective tissue (fascia) under stretch in a safe, effective and relaxing way. You will emerge energised, relaxed and rejuvenated from this practice.

You will practice gentle yin yoga movements paired with centered, clarifying breathing exercises for about 45 minutes. All of this prepares you to go into silent meditation at the end of the class. This meditation session will help you reconnect with your heart and soul. It will give you your inner space on the mat and simply time for yourself, embedded in a relaxing atmosphere of the Yogabär studio.

In this class you will practice relaxing breathing techniques and preparatory breathing exercises for the upcoming birth; do yoga exercises tailored to help pregnant women strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and prepare the body for childbirth; connect with other pregnant women and build a supportive community.

This class is open to mothers who want to practice with or without their baby. This class provides a space to reconnect with your body after birth while building a closer relationship to your baby. We will practice exercises to improve your posture, release tension and regain your strength and flexibility using various techniques to reduce stress and find inner peace — both for you and your little one. The class is also a comfortable place to exchange and share experiences and make new friends with other moms in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
